Looks like we made it! (I think there is a song that says that) The economists are telling us the recession is over but we won't feel it until mid 2010. The tonnage is up; inventories are slimming down; fuel is stable and yet unemployment is high.

 

So what has PEI been doing?

 

We've been concentrating on what you need... cheaper, better, faster. PEI has explored and been successful at LTL, rail offerings and suggesting shipping options so that you can make the best decisions. We have hired rather than laid off; we've spent time researching improved efficiencies; social media and how best to market to you.

 

 

 

We not only attempt to save you money but working on ways to make shipping with us easier. We still do non-standard services with the personal touch and we understand that budgets are tight so we have standardized some of our services to assist you in these trying economic times.

If your shipment weighs 2000# or over, you might want to send a truckload or partial if you are shipping in the SE might save you money, time and the chance of damage.
